Steel Drums

Drums are the backbone of Greif’s Industrial Packaging & Services activities. The wide range of steel drums complies with the highest packaging requirements imposed by the petrochemical, chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries. The packaging is produced in accordance with the latest production technology and tested in accordance with UN recommendations to guarantee optimum protection for a broad range of dangerous and non-dangerous goods.

Available in tight head and open head with the standard capacity size being 210 Litres and 205 Litres.

Steel Pails

Small Steel Drums are the most appropriate packaging solution for liquids and solids in the petro-chemical, chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries. Offered in various options such as Tight-Head, Open-Head, Straight-Sided and Open-Head nested styles with capacity size upto 160 litres. Primary products packed in these containers include paints, resins, inks, adhesives, pastes and powders. The packaging is produced with the latest production technology and tested in accordance with UN regulations to guarantee optimum protection for a broad range of dangerous goods.

Waterbottles

Greif UK supplies a range of the highest quality blow moulded Polycarbonate water bottles from 11 litres up to 18.9 litres based on its popular "F" design. To guarantee the standards of quality, all bottles are subject to automated 100% testing to ensure all bottles meet the specified requirements.

As an additional service, Greif offers its expertise in the industry, if required, to assist customers obtain the maximum usage from their bottles and can also offer practical advice on cleaning and storage. This is of particular benefit to new start ups to help avoid making potentially costly mistakes.

NEW from 2009

All bottles supplied from January 2009 are to the new EBWA standard neck design which is completely compatible with previous designs. Noted for its innovation, Greif introduced this brand new proprietary process to its waterbottle production lines to further increase neck and bottle quality.

Tri-Sure® Metal Flanges and Plugs

Tri-Sure flanges and plugs are available in G2 and G3/4 sizes the standard product is zinc plated for corrosion resistance. Phenolic or Epoxy-Phenolic lacquering are available for protection against aggressive products.

 

Tri-Sure® Metal Tab-Seal® Caps

Tri-Sure metal Tab-Seal caps are available in G2 and G3/4 sizes. The range of caps has been designed to ensure ease of application. These crimp-on type of Tab-Seal caps are securely crimped over the closure with a special crimp-tool and will provide security against undetected pilferage or substitution of the drum's contents.
